Fabella (noun): a small piece of cartilage or bone found within the tendon of the gastrocnemius muscle (a "calf" muscle - on the back of the hind limb); plural = fabellae

Sarcoptiform

Sarcoptiform (adjective): describes a group of mites that have a particular shape

Pruritis

Pruritus (noun): itching

Alopecia

Alopecia (noun): loss of hair

Myiasis

Myiasis (noun): the infestation of tissues or body cavities by the larvae of flies

Tenesmus

Tenesmus (noun): straining to defecate
